Functional Analyst

The Functional Analyst analyses the organization's processes and activities, identifying the areas in which it is possible to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services offered.

What does he do?

The FA plays a fundamental role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's processes, ensuring the high quality of the services offered. The activities of a Functional Analyst also include gathering information from employees and managers, designing software, and implementing IT systems, conducting seminars, creating reports for the management team, and writing user manuals. Whoever holds this role is responsible for the corporate IT systems, for a technical design that considers the balance between costs and benefits and for the installation of the improved methodologies suggested by a previous analysis.
